Elon Musk previously released Twitter files that revealed that the FBI pushed Twitter and other social media to squash the Hunter Biden laptop story without any evidence that it was a foreign operation and that they arranged for Top Secret security clearances for executives of Twitter to see some of the information that they wanted them to pursue regarding election “threats.”
That was a far cry from the disclaimer the FBI issued last week when the Twitter files started dropping. They claimed that they just “provided information” to Twitter and that whatever Twitter did with it was their own business.
Well, Elon just dropped a new cache of evidence that proves the FBI was lying…and it gets much, much worse.
The latest Twitter files that were released by Michael Shellenberger have yet another bombshell, and now Elon Musk himself is demanding answers about it from Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), the lame-duck present head of the House Intelligence Committee.
Turns out that not only was the FBI pressuring Twitter to censor things, but according to the files, Twitter was getting paid for it by the FBI. So if you were talking about acting as an arm of the state — and making bank in the process — the new release nails them to the wall.

Shellenberger noted that the pressure continued, as the FBI pressed for Twitter to turn over more information without warrants.
A clearly pissed Elon Musk himself highlighted this aspect of the files and demanded answers from Schiff.

Musk also said it wasn’t just Twitter being paid.
You have to hand it to Musk, he’s fearless. He’s not afraid to put them on the spot in pursuit of the truth. Of course, Schiff is one of the biggest liars in Congress, so I wouldn’t trust any response that he gave. But as I previously wrote, Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA) has already admitted that he had some knowledge of some of the things that were going on and acted like tracking Americans for their tweets was completely normal. What needs to happen here is the Republicans have to take up the cause once they take over, push for answers, and clean house.
