Two More Raging Liberals Get Scared Off Twitter By Musk: ‘Cesspool of Racism, Disinformation!’

Chalk up two more celebrities with skins thin enough that they can’t handle exposure to opinions that might in any way differ from their fragile woke worldview.

In a viral Twitter post on Tuesday, actor Jim Carrey announced to his more than 18 million followers that he was “leaving Twitter,” prompting users to mock the celebrity and question why he posted a video of a naked man singing in the middle of a storm.

Carrey appears to be the latest self-inflicted casualty in the left’s meltdown over billionaire Elon Musk’s takeover of Twitter. “The View” co-host Whoopi Goldberg also announced that she was “done with Twitter” earlier this month. Her account is seemingly deactivated.

Singer Sara Bareilles similarly told her fans that she was leaving the platform in October.

In Carrey’s video, a red-haired man sings a sea shanty about “angels,” “light” and “darkness.” The animated short has garnered over 3 million views on Twitter alone.

Carrey was mostly known for posting bat-sh*t crazy liberal things on Twitter, although he had been quiet of late.

While he did not specify the reason for his sudden departure announcement from Twitter, Carrey shared a comic apparently mocking Musk earlier this month. The actor depicted “Capt Smirk,” a seeming nod to the “Star Trek” character Captain Kirk, in a post filled with thinly veiled references to Musk:

Carrey seemed to take issue with Musk’s firing of “1/2 the crew,” although as we have reported, hundreds of Twitter employees seemed to do nothing at all – except posting cringey “My Day” videos of them enjoying matcha lattes and yoga but not doing much actual, well – working.

Anyway, I don’t think he will be terrible missed.

Another leftist celeb who is throwing himself overboard from the Twitter ship is the famously bald musician Moby, who had his heyday in the late 1990s, but enjoyed a comeback with the Jason Bourne movies, which all roll their credits to Moby’s track “Extreme Ways.”

Moby was far more explicit about his reason for leaving than was Jim Carrey:

The ridicule came fast and furious for little Moby’s tears of rage:

And then people remembered that – hey this Moby guy is a real creep, who pretended that he had a sexual relationship with a “barely legal” Natalie Portman – and even put it in a book! – but it was all a lie and he was forced to apologize.

Gross!

I don’t think Moby is in any position to criticize Elon for any damn thing at all, and – good riddance!

Bizarrely, both Carrey’s and Moby’s Twitter accounts were still active Wednesday afternoon, 22 hours and 30 hours, respectively, after announcing their departures from the platform. Still, they haven’t posted again since, giving conservative thinkers two more reasons to prefer Twitter over some other social media platforms.
