Elon Musk has spoken!
Or rather the new owner of Twitter has responded to the will of the people on the platform.
You might recall that Trump was banned in 2021 by executives Musk has since fired – notably leftist, Indian-born former head lawyer for Twitter, Vijaya Gadde, seen below with pal Hillary.
Interestingly, Gadde was reportedly the very first person Musk fired.
On Friday night, Musk posted a Live Poll on Twitter asking users if Trump should be reinstated, stunning people on both sides of the debate:
A massive 15 million votes came in….with the former president prevailing, by 3.6%.
The only question was…”is Elon serious?”
Well Saturday night we found out his answer: YES.
In a new tweet, Elon Musk has announced President Trump will be reinstated on Twitter.
Musk tweeted “The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei” (Latin for “the voice of the people is the voice of God”).
The only question that remains now is, will Trump – who Wednesday announced he was for a 3rd time running for president – want to return to Twitter, now that he has his own platform, TruthSocial?
Trump himself put up a post suggesting he wouldn’t…but also asking people to support him in the poll anyway…
