A growing number of liberal Hollywood celebrities vow to leave Twitter over Elon Musk’s recent takeover of the social giant for $44 billion.

Leftists claim that there is a raise in “hate” and “misinformation” even though Musk has confirmed that no changes have been made to the platform yet.

“To be super clear, we have not yet made any changes to Twitter’s content moderation policies,” Musk explained.

Hollywood’s Sara Bareilles, Toni Braxton, Mick Foley, Brian Koppelman, Erik Larsen, Téa Leoni, Ken Olin, and Alex Winter have removed themselves from the social media giant. At least for now.

If you don’t know who these celebrities are, you certainly aren’t alone.

It’s widely speculated that these leftists won’t keep their word and will likely return to Twitter at some point in the future.

Former professional wrestler Mick Foley, who is also known as Cactus Jack, Mankind and Dude Love, said, “I decided I needed a Twitter break, since the new ownership – and the misinformation and hate it seems to be encouraging – has my stomach in a knot.”

“I really do enjoy connecting with all of you on social media, but it can get overwhelming sometimes,” he continued. “I think I’ll be back on in a few weeks, but in the meantime, I will continue to post on Facebook and Instagram. I hope all of you will be kind to one another. Please vote if you can too – our democracy seems to be hanging on by a thread.”

Here’s a look at some of the other comments from left-wing celebs:

Erik Larsen confirmed to NBC that he had deleted his Twitter account.

“Yeah, I left. I said I would leave if Musk bought Twitter. Musk bought Twitter,” he told NBC in an email. “So, I had no choice. The move only emboldened those most toxic users. The racists, ‘patriots’ and creeps are back in full force.”

Larsen has worked in the comic book industry, and apparently first started gaining a following there when he did some of the artwork for “The Amazing Spider-Man” in 1990.

I’ve heard of Spider-Man, of course. In fact, he’s probably going to end up being the most recognized name in this piece — and he doesn’t even exist.

Téa Leoni publicly left Twitter on Saturday and hasn’t tweeted since. The “Madame Secretary” star left open the door for a return, however.

“[L]et’s see where we are when the dust settles,” she wrote.

Elon Musk. Living rent-free in hyper-sensitive, liberals’ toddler heads. Hilarious.
